All-truffle gastronomic stay
2 days/1 night

“Let yourself be seduced by a weekend discovering truffles in the Périgord Noir”.
You will find everything on site: the truffière, the charming rooms and the gourmet restaurant.

Your program: 2 days/1 night full board, drinks included.

(Possibility of modifications to the order of the program depending on external requirements).

Saturday

From 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  1. Welcoming participants

  2. Video projection session to discover the characteristics of a truffle field

  3. Visit to the Truffière with explanations relating to the creation of the Truffière, maintenance, pruning, the flora of the truffière and the demonstration of searching for truffles using flies and dogs.

From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  1. Explanation of the use of truffles in cooking.

  2. Everyone in the kitchen: making dishes with Périgord truffles.

Evening

  1. Gourmet all-truffle meal: Tasting of several specialties such as toast with truffled butter, brouillade, velouté, Risotto, truffled cheese, dessert

  2. Drinks: 1/4 wine, coffee or infusion included.

Sunday

Morning

  1. Visit accompanied by a duck farm at 10 a.m. Visit the force-feeding room, then you will learn how to cut a duck and make breasts.

  2. An aperitif will be served to you with a tasting of foie gras toast, duck speciality and foie gras.

Noon

  1. Discovery menu of different flavors: Brumale soup (tuber brumale), foie gras and truffle crème brûlée (Périgord truffle), stuffed veal trotter with truffle stuffing with Burgundy truffle coulis (tuber uncinatum), camembert or brie à la truffle (Périgord truffle), saffron ice cream.

  2. Drinks: 1/4 wine, coffee or infusion included.

  3. End of our services / Free afternoon

The proposed program may be subject to adjustments according to the wishes of the guests, to changes, or even to modifications in the order of activities according to external imperatives. *Reservation and cancellation conditions :

The reservation will be considered final upon receipt of a letter accompanied by a check for a deposit (50% of the total amount payable to Truffles des Mérigots).

50% deposit required upon reservation

Payment of the entire stay 3 weeks before your arrival.

Any stay started is due in full.

 

*Cancelation:

Non-refundable deposit.

Balance refunded at 70% in the event of force majeure.

The reservation can only be canceled or postponed for serious reasons. We cannot cancel or postpone because the weather is uncertain, for example:

Any course started is due in full.
